According to the Observatoire 2G/3G/4G report published today by ANFR, the French National Frequencies Agency, with 5 248 4G radio sites lit up, SFR is the operator having activated the greatest number of new 4G sites in 2016. These massive deployments will continue in 2017 and will enable SFR to cover 90% of the population by the end of the year.
As the first operator to launch 4G in France, SFR posted once again the market’s best performance and reached a new production record. SFR achieves the largest 4G network extension on the market. With the 730 new 4G sites lit up, the SFR network now has 9,835 4G sites supporting 16,297 4G antennas.
